Mission
To provide SHRM's Connecticut-based members and affiliated chapters with:
Exemplary and innovative leadership and guidance;
Timely resources and education which can be easily understood and implemented;
Clear and timely communication between members, chapters, the area board, and the national board;
High level programs and pathways to enrich member capability; and
An understanding of SHRM's provided services and benefits; a forum to initiate discussions with SHRM to consider additional service/benefit offerings that will be responsive to members' needs.
Structure
The Connecticut State HR Council is an affiliate organization of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) of Alexandria, Virginia, the world's leading association of Human Resource professionals. The Connecticut State HR Council is comprised of SHRM member volunteers and representative local chapter leaders, dedicated to the advancement of the human resource management profession.
